Programs at Osho Dham, India
Osho Meditation Retreat Jan. 24 - 27, 2026 Gurdjieff Movements 10-day Intensive for Beginners Jan. 30 - Feb. 8, 2026
Osho Dham is located at the outskirt of New Delhi to the west of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Reached easily in 40 to 50 minutes from the airport by a prepaid taxi with cash or otherwise by Uber (costs around INR 600 to 700, roughly equivalent of 6 to 7 euros). Knock on the door of the front gate to have it opened for you by the guard. See Google Map. - The climate at Osho Dham from late January to early February, during which the programs take place, is expected to be fine. cold in the morning and night, requiring one to wear a winter jacket in the semi-open dining hall, but warm in the daytime. Warm bedding and primitive heating equipment are provided. For programs, depending on the time of the day and what we do, we may use either a semi-open huge pavillion or a semi-underground large group room. - The 4-day Osho Meditation Retreat with Introduction to the Gurdjieff Movements (Jan. 24-27, 2026) is composed of a series of freely-participated, open-format programs. Continuous participation throughout the entire period is not mandatory. On each day, programs will include Osno Active Meditations, introductory Gurdjieff Movements sessions, and selected Osho talks. These programs are fully covered by the regular daily charge established at Osho Dham. - The daily charge (overnight charge, to be more exact), which covers regular meditation programs, three meals and bed, depends on the overnight accommodation type: INR 1300 (about 13 euros) with a bed in a large dormitory (men/women separate), INR 1800 with a bed in a four-bed room. In the case of two persons using a large luxurious private room, INR 4500 or 5500 is charged for the two including three meals for the two. Ask Osho Dham for the availability and cost of other options like single occupancy in a large private room. (Ths information is as of May 2025. ) - The Gurdjieff Movements 10-day Intensive for Beginners begins on January 30, but participants must arrive by the night before. The program ends by the noon of February 8. The group fee is INR 15000 (about 150 euros) for 10 days. This is additional to the daily charge mentioned above. - A set of maroon color costume with pants for the Movements practice will be provided to each group participant, covered by the group fee. In addition, all participants will require a maroon robe and white robe for regular meditation programs and evening meeting. These are to be purchased at shop just outside the entrance of Osho Dham. - The daily routine, constant dedication to internal tasks, an almost complete seclusion from the outer world may be monastery-like, but in a brightly relaxed atmosphere. - Plavan leads programs in English. - Inquiry and booking: |
